Vintage RV Wall Art

Some subjects become more interesting after time has had its say. Aged in the Quiet Light centers on an old RV, a vehicle with the kind of character that only age can give it. As vintage RV wall art, the photograph offers something less expected than traditional automotive artwork while still appealing to anyone drawn to older vehicles and their unmistakable individuality.

Old RV Photography

Todd McPhetridge approaches the RV as a photographic subject worth noticing on its own. Rather than relying on a familiar classic car or truck, this piece finds its interest in a recreational vehicle that has simply grown more distinctive with time. The canvas wrap gives buyers an uncommon piece of vintage vehicle photography with a subject that does not appear on every wall. If old RVs, road travel, or unusual automotive subjects have always caught your attention, Aged in the Quiet Light gives that interest a place in your art collection.

Small - 16" × 24"

A clean, versatile size for hallways, entryways, home offices, kitchens, and narrow walls. Works well above a small console or desk and pairs nicely as a set of two with 2" spacing. Reads clearly from 4–8 feet away and suits walls that are roughly 36–60" wide.

Medium - 24" × 36"

The most popular single-piece size for living rooms, bedrooms, and mantels. Strong enough to anchor a space on its own without overwhelming it. Ideal above a standard sofa or a queen bed. Comfortable viewing distance is 6–10 feet, and it fits best on walls about 60–96" wide.

Large - 32" × 48"

A statement piece for main living areas, dining rooms, and primary bedrooms. Scales well over an 84–100" sofa or a king bed and becomes the focal point of the room. Best on walls 80–120" wide with a viewing distance of 8–12 feet.

Simple hanging guidelines

  • Center height: place the middle of the artwork about 57–60" from the floor.
  • Above furniture: keep the bottom edge roughly 6–10" above the top of the sofa, headboard, or console.
  • Proportion: aim for artwork that is about two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it.
  • Spacing: if hanging multiples, keep gaps consistent at about 2".

Meet the Artist
Hi, I’m Todd McPhetridge

I am an award-winning fine art photographer whose work is enjoyed by more than 20,000 collectors worldwide. My passion for creating began early, a third-place ribbon in a first-grade art contest was my first taste of sharing my vision with others, and I’ve been creating ever since.

I grew up exploring the wild beauty of the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia, a place that shaped my eye for natural beauty and timeless landscapes. When my family moved to Atlanta at age twelve, I felt the deep ache of leaving those mountains behind. At sixteen, I received my first camera, and with it, a way to hold on to those memories, and to keep chasing the beauty of the world that first inspired me.

Every piece of art that I create is a reflection of the values that shape my life: faith, family, and the timeless beauty of God’s creation.
